Location: CopperMuse Distillery * (see below)

Monoprinting is a type of printmaking where the intent is to make unique prints. The word “monoprint” means “to make a one-off print” and refers to the most direct and simple form of printing. The list of artists who use or used monoprinting is quite extensive but here are some great examples: Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Edgar Degas, and many more. Students will draw patterns, shapes, and designs directly onto a painted surfacethen use a roller with gel printing plates and acrylic sheets to transfer the acrylic paint onto the paper. Completed monoprints can also be altered with collage pieces and hand-painted additions. All ages welcome!

*your class fee includes 1 free drink of your choice from CopperMuse Distillery during class

CopperMuse is dedicated to producing high-quality, craft spirits with all-natural ingredients. Owned by a husband-wife duo, these former engineers opened their distillery in 2014. They've found distilling is "a perfect way to marry the skills of a homebrewer with the artistic expression of  a winemaker".

Coppermuse is located at 244 N College Ave #105. Fort Collins CO 80524
