Instructor Julie Grillo
Sunday, November 17th, 2024 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Come to this make-and-take class to sew two easy gifts for yourself or others! Julie will provide a variety of fabrics, instructions and encouragement to complete two sewing projects. A “warm hug” is a microwavable rice bag with an inner and outer sleeve for easy cleaning. These make great gifts and therapeutic aids for the aches we may experience. The “mug rug” is a small coaster to protect your tables from a hot cup or cool glass. Students can choose from a variety of shapes and fabrics.
Hot cocoa, tea, coffee, and cider will be available for sipping as we enjoy our afternoon.
Students need to bring a working sewing machine with cotton thread, cotton bobbins, and scissors. These projects can also be hand-sewn and students simply need a few needles and thread, along with scissors.
Fabric and quilting tools are provided. However, if you have a favorite fabric you wish to work with, please bring it.
Beginner to advanced, ages 13 to adult.
