Texture Landscape – Day 1: Building the Surface
In this workshop, we will work with professional texture paste to create a dimensional landscape on canvas. You will learn how to shape relief using palette knives and brushes — forming a tactile base that comes alive under your hands.
This is the first part of a two-day workshop. On the second day, once the paste has fully dried, you’ll have the option to return and paint your textured piece with acrylics — or complete it on your own at home.
You can buy only one day of workshop or enjoy two days of art classes.
Texture Landscape – Day 2: Bringing the Form to Life
In this workshop, we continue working on the textured landscape created during Day 1.
You will bring your piece to life through color, light, and acrylic paint — highlighting depth, softening transitions, and revealing the unique atmosphere of your landscape.
If you’re joining this class separately, don’t worry — a pre-textured canvas will be provided, so you can dive straight into the painting process.
You will learn to:
— Work with texture through light and layering
— Create mood and emotion using acrylics and contrast
— Complete a finished piece ready for display or as a heartfelt gift
Each participant will leave with a one-of-a-kind artwork — expressive, personal, and full of feeling.
All levels welcome; ages 13-adult
