This piece is framed behind non glare glass, with a plein-air style frame. It measures, 20 inches wide and 17 inches tall. I painted it in soft pastels using a 400 grit paper. I visited Black Canyon of the Gunnison a few years ago and discovered yet another beautiful area in Colorado. It is truly a breath taking canyon and I hoped to portray a bit of it in this piece.
