This piece is framed behind non glare glass, with a plein-air style frame. It measures, 16 inches tall by 14.5 inches wide. I painted it with soft pastels on 400 grit paper. This is a waterfall in the Brainard Lake Park, in Boulder County. This area is simply spectacular with it's amazing mountains, rivers and streams. I tried to capture a bit of the crisp new spring greenery in this piece, can't you just hear the water running down the mountain?
