This piece is framed behind non glare glass, with a plein-air style frame. It measures, 18 inches tall by 15inches wide, created in soft pastels using 400 grit paper. I won a ribbon for this piece from Longmont Artist's Guild. I created this piece after visiting Sprague Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. This area, like many in the park is amazingly beautiful. I chose to paint the water instead of the mountains as the light catching on the trees stopped me in my tracks. I hope you enjoy it.
