This super fun workshop is perfect for the beginner wanting to get into metalsmithing however all skill levels are welcome. This is a great next step for those who have had an intro to soldering but it is not neccesary to have done any!
In this class, you will learn how to measure, cut, solder, shape, and finish wire into a ring, and to take it to the next level soldering embellishments on to your band! You will leave with a beautiful finished ring, or if you have time you can create more than one that you can wear with pride or gift to someone special!
This class is perfect for anyone who loves jewelry, creativity, and fun. It’s also a great way to meet new friends and have fun in a supportive and friendly environment.
Materials and tools will be supplied. Students will be able to choose sterling silver wire for your ring, as well as to make or use a premade embellishment. Just bring your imagination!
If you enjoy the class, we offer other jewelry classes where you will have the opportunity to come back and continue your metalsmithing journey! Ages 13 and up.
Please wear closed toe shoes. This is close up detail work, please bring any magnification eyewear you might typically use for such work.
