Saturday, April 12th, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Blue Moose Art Gallery

Calling all aspiring fiction writers. The goal of the class and workshop is to guide you to a great start with your book.  You'll learn a few  “RULES FOR WRITING" and one "MAGIC FORMULA" to help keep you writing and to keep your stories on track.    This class is an opportunity to have your work evaluated by a professional writer with 29 books published by the Bantam Books and Dell Book divisions of Random House.  Tara's books in romance, historical fantasy, and action/adventure have been on a number of Best Seller lists over the years, including the New York Times.

If you have a current work-in-progress, send the first two  pages of your manuscript to bluemooseclasses@gmail.com  one week prior to the class so Tara can read them through prior to class.

For the last half of class, she will meet with each writer on a one-on-one basis for a few minutes, focusing on the all-important opening pages of their current work in progress.  If you haven't started your book yet, come anyway and get some ideas on how to get started.

The class is for anyone, but the evaluations are for fiction, not for biographies, personal histories, non-fiction, or great, or even not-so-great, literature.
