Alley is a third generation artist and has been creating her whole life. She grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, attended college in Orlando, Florida, and moved to Colorado in 2021 with her husband. She is inspired by places and moments that make her feel peaceful and grounded, and she strives to capture the magic of being present in those moments. She lives in Loveland with her husband and their dog, Macchiato, and when she is not painting, she likes being outdoors, reading, and enjoying restaurants and coffee shops.
