Andrea earned her bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from Michigan State University. After obtaining her degree, she worked for a jewelry designer in completing orders, trade shows, and office work. While Andrea did not pursue a career in the art world, she always continued practicing it as a passion. Andrea’s love of making jewelry started in college and has continued over the years in differing levels of intensity. Andrea’s jewelry techniques began with beading and progressed to wire crocheting, wire work, taking classes in the art of metal clay, resin jewelry. and metal smith techniques. She describes her jewelry as feminine and contemporary. She resides in Fort Collins, CO, with her husband and three wonderful kids. If you don’t find her making jewelry or playing with her kids, you’ll probably find her trying to keep fit as a certified Personal Trainer/Group fitness instructor.
