Julie was raised in the mountains of Colorado. She and her husband, John, have lived in Fort Collins for 20 years. After she retired, Julie followed her true passion, mixed media art. Her style is called “intuitive painting.” She starts a painting and lets it take her in its own direction. She loves using texture and different mediums together for a truly unique look. Her art is constantly evolving as she tries different processes. In addition to painting, Julie enjoys making jewelry, playing competitive Scrabble, participating in a women's book club, and traveling.
