While learning the basics, create 4 impressionistic-like coasters to welcome the new season. Cheryl will provide helpful information and guide you in designing coasters using epoxy resin and shimmering mica pigments. You will have a selection of shades to choose from to create a palette that speaks to you. Various simple tools will be available to add detail if desired.
Coasters will need to remain in the gallery overnight to dry and begin curing.
Low toxicity and minimal odor resin product is used in this class. Wear old clothing. Nitrile gloves and a thin plastic apron are provided. Simple face masks will be available for use if you choose to wear one. You may also feel free to bring your own face respirator.
Beginning level class, ages 13 and up welcome.
