Framed Fine Art Print, 8 x 11 inch print, 12 x 15 inches framed.
I created the original mixed media collage of this print using cattlemarkers, watercolors, salt, acrylic, porcupine quills, wasp paper, grasses & wildflowers, seeds & leaves, horse hair, legally harvested feathers in Montana and Queen of Hearts vintage sheet music (1893). Hidden in this piece are the constellation Orion, the star Sirius, the planet Jupiter and Jupiter’s four moons, and the full title of the piece, “And then the Day Came When We Left it all Behind and Soared High into the Heavens in Search of Someone greater than us.”
This piece symbolizes the pivotal season of the my life—a courageous departure from the legal realm to embrace a new path of creativity and self-expression. I took a leap of faith, bidding farewell to the familiar and diving headfirst into the art world. With each image I create, it is testament to the power of following one’s dreams and embracing change.
