Make a fun and fidget friendly flared spinner ring! Create and texture a band and add a spinning second ring to create a one of a kind design.
Some experience soldering or taking Beth's stacking rings class prior is required. In this workshop, you will learn basic soldering and forming techniques to shape and fit the ring to the size you desire. We’ll also look at various ways of adding texture including hammering, stamping, roller printing, and will add patina as desired for that extra pop of contrast.
All tools and materials will be supplied. Choose from Bronze, copper or silver for the main band and bronze, copper or brass for the spinner included in the registration fee. If desired, you may purchase additional metal at the workshop if you’d like the spinner to be silver as well or if you would like additional spinners.
Please wear closed-toe shoes. This is close-up detail work; please bring any magnification eyewear you might typically use for such work.
