The short, beautiful life of a peony is a lesson in quiet independence. Every blossom opens slowly, perfectly, and entirely on its own terms. After years away from graphite, I returned to pencil drawing to capture this seasonal magic. Working in deliberate, thoughtful strokes of black and white, this piece reflects my deep appreciation for nature's brief, stunning show—done entirely in its own way.
