Instructor Sarah Juschka (NEW INSTRUCTOR)
Wednesday, March 18th, 2026 from 10:30am to 12:30 pm at the Blue Moose Art Gallery
This super-fun, hands-on spring break class is perfect for kids ages 5 and up, including teens, tweens, and adults who want to create together!
We’ll be using shrink film to design and color all kinds of playful characters—think animals, fruit, and imaginative designs—then watch them shrink into sturdy charms and jewelry pieces. Students can turn their creations into earrings, charms, or keepsakes.
Students may bring a character design or drawing (3" × 3" or smaller) if they have something specific they’d like to create. Each student will have the opportunity to make charms and one set of earrings, with all necessary hooks and hardware included.
In addition to shrink art, we’ll have a bracelet-making station where students will learn one simple braiding technique designed to hold charms, so they can create a wearable piece that brings everything together.
This class is designed to be:
Creative and playful
Easy to jump into at any age
Flexible so everyone can work at their own pace
Younger artists will be guided step-by-step, while older kids and adults can add their own creative flair.
All supplies provided
No experience necessary
A fun, relaxed spring break activity for all ages
Children under 8 may benefit from having a grown-up participate alongside them. This class is designed to be collaborative, creative, and fun for all ages.
I am super excited about this class! Looking forward to seeing you :)
