Lisa Winta, needle basketry, beading, Blue Moose Art Gallery

Lisa is a Colorado native and multidisciplinary artist working in fiber arts, painting, beading, jewelry making, and pine needle basketry. When she’s not creating, she can often be found outdoors, exploring wild places for rocks and inspiration. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Colorado State University and has spent more than 30 years with the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program, a Northern Colorado non-profit dedicated to rehabilitating injured raptors and providing environmental education. Her art and her work with raptors are both rooted in a deep appreciation for nature and a passion for inspiring others to care for the world around them.
