Create a glowing desert landscape filled with golden yellows, soft purples, rich red hills, and a striking cactus! In this beginner-friendly acrylic class, Sarah will guide you step by step as you explore color variation, layering, and expressive brushwork.
The red hills offer a fun opportunity to build texture and weave different colors into your painting. Learn how warm and cool colors, highlights, and shadows can push distant mountains back and bring foreground shapes forward, creating depth throughout your landscape.
This is a wonderful follow-up for students who took Color Confidence, offering a chance to explore contrasting colors and put those concepts into practice. No previous class or painting experience is necessary!
All students ages 10 and up are welcome and all materials are provided.
Please note that we do know that things come up and cancellations may be necessary. We ask that if you must reschedule, please do so as far in advance as possible. Cancellations within 48 Hours prior forfeit the class fee, and no show forfeits the class fee.
