Spring Leaves

This beautiful piece can be imagined as a young plant in spring, straining upwards toward the sun and about to throw out beautiful blossoms. It is made from Aromatic Cedar and Baltic Birch plys. It sits on a strikingly figured and richly toned Chechen wood base, and has handles made of Purple Heart wood. It measures7.5 inches wide at the base, 3.25 inches deep (5 inches deep at the base) and stands 5 inches tall. It is designed to showcased the woods in their natural state to show off their beautiful tones and richness. No dyes or wood stains are used, it is simply protected by a clear coat of shellac and lacquer.
