Swirling Water

This diminutive box measures only 5 inches long by 2.5 inches deep and is 3 inches tall, but its flowing lines give it an outsized presence. The drawers are reminiscent of two fish in a school swirling in a funnel shape around and around in a dazzling display that catches the eye - and throws off predators. It is made of Leopard Wood with Baltic Birch plys, and has handles of Primavera wood. It showcases the woods in their natural state to highlight their beautiful tones and richness. No dyes or wood stains are used, it is simply protected by a clear coat of shellac and lacquer.
