Acrylic pour painting, also known as Fluid Art, is a fun technique in which paint is poured in layers on a canvas or other base and moved around by blowing, tilting, or using a hairdryer or straw. Suki uses this technique to create beautiful patterns, blooms, and other visuals. To enhance key areas, beads, crystals, or metallic leaf can be added to the paintings.
During the demo, Suki will be painting a beautiful bloom using the acrylic pour technique, demonstrating how enhancements are applied to make the artwork more specific and visually stunning.
Suki will be offering 10% her work at the gallery during the event.
Ann works in shrink film and colored pencils to create beautiful jewelry. She draws original art with colored pencils on the film, and then shrinks it to 1/3 or so it's size. This also makes the colors pop.
The sky is the limit for this medium So versatile it can be whimsical or just beautiful, depends on you!
