Deb now calls Fort Collins home. As a co-owner of the Blue Moose Gallery, she loves meeting wonderful people in this area, hiking, biking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Deb still makes regular visits at her first gallery, the Blue Goose Gallery in Chester, CA, to help out and teach watercolor workshops. Watercolor is her medium -- exciting, unpredictable, challenging and fun. She says you can't quite control watercolor...it has a mind of its own...but you can help direct and lead it. “There is a spontaneity and freshness with watercolor that you just can't get with any other medium. There is a pureness...watercolors are like transparent jewels.” Teaching is another of Deb's passions. She loves watching the "aha" moments happen as her students find success and joy and unravel the mysteries of art and watercolor. She is enthusiastic about sharing and passing on the gift of art with others.
