As a co-owner of the Blue Moose Gallery, Deb loves meeting people and helping them experience the joy of art. Her interests outside of art are spending time with family and friends, traveling, hiking, biking, playing pickle ball and golfing. Deb still makes regular visits to her first gallery, the Blue Goose Gallery in Lake Almanor, CA, in the mountains near Lassen National Park. Watercolor is her medium. It’s exciting, unpredictable, challenging and fun. She says you can't quite control watercolor as it has a mind of its own, but you can help direct and lead it. “There is a spontaneity and freshness with watercolor that you just can't get with any other medium. There is a pureness...watercolors are like transparent jewels. Teaching is another of Deb's passions. She loves watching the "aha" moments happen as her students find success and joy and unravel the mysteries of art and watercolor. She is enthusiastic about sharing and passing on the gift of art with others.
