Jane is a Colorado native with a passion for painting. She is always on the lookout for unusual light, color combinations, or contrasts that will make for a compelling work of art. Her goal is to help people experience the moments that inspire her paintings. Although she spent her younger years working in oils, acrylics, pastels, pencil and ink, Jane discovered a new passion in watercolor about seven years ago and immersed herself in that medium ever since. Her love of the outdoors is woven deeply into her art. She is an avid fly fisherwoman, pursuing sailfish in Mexico, salmon in Alaska, and trout in her Colorado home waters. Jane studied fine art at the University of Colorado and has continued to learn under many recognized artists. She has been commissioned to do full wall murals, book covers, and portraits.
