Michael Moss, Digital Art

Michael remembers drawing with a bright red pencil at age four.  From then on, he has always had a pencil, pen, or brush in his hand.  Creating art is deep in his DNA and is an important part of who he is.  He grew up in Southeast Texas, where he was an artist-in-residence.  He has created art for television advertisements and non-profit organizations, as well as art that he’s successfully displayed and sold in galleries and at arts festivals.  After graduating from college, he moved to Los Angeles, California, where he lived for 34 years, before he and his family relocated to Northern Colorado in 2022.  While he still creates new art pieces using natural mediums such as acrylic paint, watercolor, pen and ink, and pencil, for the past six years he has worked primarily as a digital artist.  He searched out and successfully found computer digital art programs and a Cintiq screen display tablet that allow him to digitally create his art using familiar natural medium techniques.  Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and son exploring his new home state of Colorado, its mountains and beautiful natural surroundings.
