Teresa is the author of Dancing in Combat Boots and War on a Sunday Morning and will be sharing her author's journey writing seven works of fiction based on interviews with real people who contributed to the WWII war effort in unusual and important ways.
Brad Hoopes will be telling the remarkable story of how he has devoted more than 20 years to recording and preserving the stories of over 600 veterans - both men and women - who served during World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. His ongoing project is called "Remember and Honor."
Teresa and Brad will explain what took them down their respective paths and a bit about their unique approaches to preserving individual histories. They will also share some of the many inspiring things they learned from interviewing “The Greatest Generation.”
We'd like to invite you to bring a photograph or memento of your relatives who served during WWII, Korea, or Vietnam to place on our commemorative table during the talks, and we’d ask that you remember to take them with you when you go.
