Photographing and preparing images of natural scenes has been a life-long love for Steve. He strives to interpret and capture a scene's essence and mood rather than the strict tonal “reality.” However, since he often photographs into the sun, deep shadow or in other harsh light, sometimes the final art is quite real. The Rocky Mountains, the High Plains, the Desert Southwest and the Tropics are his favored locations. Steve also teaches photography and skills for the digital darkroom. All of his work can be ordered at different sizes and on different media.
