Susie’s love for clay began in elementary school making pinch pots and dragons. In high school, she learned to throw pots on the wheel. After another ten years and a lot of classes, she set up her own pottery studio. She loves the smooth, earthy feel of clay and turning a lump of clay into functional pottery. A few years later, something else caught her eye: Dichroic Fused Glass! Now, her time is divided between working with clay and the bright shinny colors of glass. She cuts and assembles pieces of glass and then fires it in her kiln. She most enjoys designing jewelry and my whimsical glass creations that sometimes combine fused glass, wood and clay. Her stoneware pottery is oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe.
