Lapis lazuli is metamorphic, created over eons, accumulating sodalite, pyrite and other minerals as it is heated and pressed. That's why this blue stone is so beautiful, with silvery flecks. It is said to provide a conduit to higher realms.
I just thought the beads - the shape and color - looked cool, dangling from this circle parcel of painting.
