Once upon a time last century, there was a man named "Bid", who looked like a furry old hermit.
These earrings don't have anything to do with him. When I named them, he came to mind.
Bid's components ( the jewelry Bid ) are pieces from an ambery painting, a colored strip of inner tube, protected by a cool smashed and sanded slice of aluminum cap from CostCo ginger ale. Carol saves the caps for me.
She might have liked to meet Bid. The man.
