Enjoy learning the basics of portrait drawing using charcoal in this easy entry level portrait drawing class. You will sketch a profile portrait of an old gent with his pipe, his jaunty cap, eye glasses, and a scruffy beard! You will use toned paper for your mid value and add black charcoal and white pastel for your darker values and highlights, making it a dramatic portrait. Working from a photograph provided by instructor you will find this to be an enjoyable class and will give you ideas for your future drawings! All materials supplied. Sign up and give it a try!
