Create and bring home your own fabulous, stained glass mountain landscape! In this class we will be focusing on foiling, soldering, framing, and finishing your very own stained glass creation.
Each student will be supplied with 11 precut stained glass pieces, with some variation in mountain colors to choose from. Finished piece is approximately 9 inches in diameter.
Intermediate skills added: each class wills tart with a small lesson in glass cutting and students will be able to try out their own cutting skills on clear sample glass. Finishing your piece with a border of lead cane.
All tools, supplies and safety equipment will be provided. The instructor will have a selection of colors for the mountain pieces, but cannot guarantee each persons preferred color will be available.
Please wear closed toed shoes and be prepared to pull long hair back.
Ages 16 and up welcome.
Please note that we do know that things come up, so our class cancellation policy reasonably accommodates our valuable customers and is respectful of our instructors’ time and effort to prepare for and purchase materials for classes. We ask that if you must reschedule, please do so as far in advance as possible. Cancellations within 24 Hours prior forfeit the class fee, and no show forfeits the class fee. If the class minimum size is not met within 2 days before the class, the instructor or the gallery reserves the right to cancel the class. Students will be notified by phone and given full class credit. These students will be contacted first if the class is rescheduled.
