Join us for a vibrant and expressive painting experience where brushes meet pallet knives to bring a bold poppy field to life. In this guided acrylic class, you’ll learn how to build depth and movement using traditional paintbrush techniques for the sky and landscape, then switch to the pallet knife to create thick, textured, poppies bursting with color and dimension. We’ll explore layering, color, blending, and knife techniques that give flowers, their signature impasto texture – no two poppies will look the same. This class is perfect for beginners and experienced painters alike and encourages creative freedom while still providing step-by-step instruction. You’ll leave with a finished acrylic on canvas painting, full of rich reds, dynamic, texture, and expressive detail – plus new skills you can use in your future paintings!

All supplies provided. No prior experience required.  Ages 10 through adult.
