This 8” x 10” oil painting of a mountain goat is done on a wood panel with a 2” depth. The mountain goat is partway through shedding its thick winter coat, with the icy mountain wind blowing pieces of wool around its face. This painting is done in a thick impasto, wet-on-wet style.
