Metal stamping allows you to create beautiful personalized gifts for every holiday and occasion. There's nothing better than something handmade from the heart, and this technique is fun and easy once you know a few tricks. It does require a few specialized tools and a little practice to get right, but metalsmithing instructor Beth Liggitt will guide you step-by-step through the design and creation of your one-of-a-kind jewelry piece. This fun jewelry making workshop is perfect for any skill level - no experience necessary!

Explore making jewelry with components stamped with a design or personalization of your choosing, incorporate beads or wire wrapping if desired to add interest to create the piece of your choice - pendant, earrings or bracelet. Bring your imagination!

All tools will be supplied and findings and earwires are included. Metals will be available to choose at the workshop - aluminum, brass, or bronze, is included. Sterling silver will be an extra charge based on weight at the current spot price.
 
Please note that we do know that things come up, so our class cancellation policy reasonably accommodates our valuable customers and is respectful of our instructors’ time and effort to prepare for and purchase materials for classes. We ask that if you must reschedule, please do so as far in advance as possible. Cancellations within 24 Hours prior forfeit the class fee, and no show forfeits the class fee. If the class minimum size is not met within 2 days before the class, the instructor or the gallery reserves the right to cancel the class. Students will be notified by phone and given full class credit. These students will be contacted first if the class is rescheduled.

Please wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing. This is up close detail work , please bring any magnification eyewear you would typically use for such work, any personal jewelry making tools that you prefer to use.
