Come have a super fun art making experience where you will learn techniques for turning vintage spoons, forks, and knives into rings, pendants, or bracelets. A wonderful, affordable way to make sustainable jewelry, practicing found object design! This workshop will cover cutting, bending, forming, texturing, drilling, and polishing. Metalsmithing instructor Beth Liggitt will guide you step-by-step through the design and creation of your one-of-a-kind jewelry piece. This fun jewelry making workshop is perfect for any skill level - no experience necessary!

Choose from a variety of vintage flatware, or bring your own to create the piece of your choice - pendant, earrings or adjustable rings. Experiment with adding beads and different findings if desired.

All tools will be supplied. Just bring your imagination!

Please wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing. This is up close detail work , please bring any magnification eyewear you would typically use for such work, any personal jewelry making tools that you prefer to use.
