Hand-turned from a rare white oak burl, the sculpture is crowned by an intensely jagged, deeply textured bark live edge that frames the open interior. The turning reveals a breathtaking topographical landscape across the inner bowl floor, covered in swirled grain mapping and dense clusters of tiny burl eyes. Beautifully showcasing the tree's natural history, the vessel features high-contrast dark inclusions and raw bark pockets pocketed throughout the golden oak walls.
