After a highly technical education and career, Adam became a “serial”-artist to satisfy the creative side of his brain. He's experienced in pottery, watercolor, graffiti writing, and printmaking. Through his woodblock series, Adam meditates on some of his most challenging thoughts, raw emotions, and core memories, ultimately using ink to render his vulnerable self. He loves the lengthy, scarce, and unforgiving nature of analog practices like this artform. In his woodblock series, carving, proofing, editing, and printing is done completely analog, and takes about 3 days to complete per work. Each print is a unique edition of 10, and these prints are from the first run The medium is premium 250-gram Rives Cotton paper and Speedball black ink. While the size of these prints is 12” x 12”, he has plans to broaden his scope and provide larger-format artwork. Framed, these works are 14” x 14”.
