Judy Sprague, Painting and Drawing

Judy is proud to have earned the status of Associate Member of the prestigious organization Women Artists of the West, a Master Signature Member of the Pastel Society of Colorado, and a Signature Member of the Arizona Pastel Artists Association. Her work has been accepted in more than 100 national/international fine art juried exhibitions in the past 25 years in the states of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Kansas, Florida, North Carolina, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, and Colorado, and it has been juried twice into the PAINT AMERICA 100. Her work has received 80 awards in regional and national exhibitions. Her mediums include not only pastel, but also oil, charcoal, and pen and ink. Judy has lived in Colorado most of her life. Her subjects are often Western and her style contemporary; but she also enjoys a variety of other subjects and styles. She holds a MA in Counseling and a BA in Art and Education and worked many years in secondary education, higher education, and mental health.
