These quivers (or sheaths) are what the Native Americans used to carry their arrows. The size of the quivers was dependent upon the type of bow used and the length of the arrows. They were traditionally made of leather, bark, fibers, wood, or furs. I enjoyed drawing this very small original ink drawing of a quiver which hangs on a wall in our home. The quiver is full size but my drawing measures only 4.5 x 4.5 and is framed to 7x7 overall.
