Lequetta is a retired teacher who has lived in Fort Collins for 40 years and enjoys traveling, animals, camping and the Art world. Lequetta likes to sculpt because of the way the material changes from one stage to the next; giving purpose to the shape, form and mass of a piece. One of her challenges is to make people look and look again at my work and to feel the sentiment she has tried to convey while doing so. Lequetta finds the smallobjets d'art to be versatile in purpose, ease of placement, portability and sentimentality. Currently she enjoys sculpting animals and Yoga pieces as they amplify her love of nature and movement.
