Stacie Robinson, Ceramics

Stacie Robinson is the artist behind Muddy Mountain Muse Ceramics. She grew up in the south and traveled widely following her career studying diverse species as a wildlife biologist. Now based in Fort Collins, she works closely with the wildlife and landscapes of the mountain west. That inspiration from nature comes through in her pottery. She creates unique designs using a traditional process called sgraffito. She layers stains on the wet clay, then carves through the colors to make multi-dimensional designs.
